Thanks for catching the error! And sorry for the late reply…busy busy. You are correct. Goumangala was definitely not 2008! Sorry about that. The caption has been updated, but not to reflect the year of the Carnival in which Goumangala was mashin’ up de place (i.e., 2002) but the year it was recorded (on Shadowlingo, we try to use the publication date printed on the recording so that international archivists/collectors can more easily locate the recordings in databases, collections etc.). Much obliged!
